The Ficus benjamina 'Alii' is an elegant, leafy houseplant with a graceful upright form and glossy green foliage. Its dense canopy and slender leaves give it a sophisticated, tree-like appearance, making it an excellent choice for adding height and greenery to living rooms, offices and larger indoor spaces.
Easy to grow once settled, it makes a beautiful long-term feature plant and can become an impressive indoor tree with age.
Plant Care
☀️ Light
Prefers bright, indirect light but will tolerate medium light. Avoid sudden changes in light levels, which can cause leaf drop.
💧 Water
Allow the top 3–5 cm of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. Ensure excess water drains away completely and avoid leaving the plant sitting in water.
💨 Humidity
Enjoys moderate humidity but generally adapts well to normal household conditions.
🌡️ Temperature
Thrives between 18–27°C. Protect from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes.
🌱 Feeding
Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser. Reduce feeding during autumn and winter.

Pet Friendly?
No. Ficus species can be toxic to cats and dogs if ingested, and their milky sap may cause skin irritation. Keep out of reach of pets and children.
Please Note
Ficus plants can naturally drop some leaves when moved or exposed to changes in light, temperature or watering. This is normal while the plant adjusts to its new environment. Your plant will arrive healthy and carefully packaged, ready to thrive in its new home.
