Returns & Refunds

At Verd, we take great care in selecting, preparing and packaging our plants. As plants are living products, natural variation in size, shape, colour and stage of growth should be expected. Product photographs are intended as a guide, and individual plants may vary.

Please Inspect Your Order

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, unhealthy, incomplete or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing shopverd@gmail.com.

To help us resolve the issue as quickly as possible, please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the affected item(s)

  • Clear photographs of the packaging

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, store credit or refund.

Right of Withdrawal and Returns

If you are a consumer purchasing within the European Union, you may have a legal right to withdraw from certain online purchases within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

However, this right does not apply where an exemption under applicable consumer protection law applies. Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly may be exempt from the right of withdrawal.

As Verd primarily sells live plants, many of our products may not be eligible for return or withdrawal once they have been delivered in good condition.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please submit a request through our Cancellation / Withdrawal Request page or contact us at shopverd@gmail.com. We will assess your request in accordance with applicable Irish and EU consumer protection law.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer protection law.

Non-Plant Products

Unused, unopened and non-perishable products may be eligible for return in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

Please contact us before returning any item. Returned items should be unused, in their original condition and, where possible, in their original packaging.

Unless the item is faulty, incorrect or otherwise required by law, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning eligible items.

Sale Items and Gift Cards

Sale items and gift cards cannot be returned unless required by applicable consumer protection law.

Refunds

Once your return or claim has been reviewed and approved, any refund due will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Please allow several business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued.
