Highly decorative spotted leaves, very appreciated by plant collectors all over the world, and one of our favourite varieties of begonias. Can reach an impressive 90cm tall, but needs gardening support to fully grow, encourage new leaves, and protect the stems from any damage.
Bright indirect sunlight, turn the pot occasionally to encourage leaves to develop in all directions.
Keep the compost moist through the summer months, but be careful to not overwater your plant as it can lead to root rot. During winter, reduce the water regime by half. Begonias appreciate a moist environment, mist around your plant often, and avoid water sitting on the leaves as it can scorch them when exposed to sunlight.
Repot your begonia every spring, as a root-bound plant will lose its colour
Not edible. Toxic if accidentally ingested.
