Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, also known as “Mini Monstera” or Philodendron minima, is a unique species of plants originating from Malaysia and Southern Thailand. Although these plants are part of the Araceae family, they belong to an independent genus known as Rhaphidophora.
Can be trained to climb a moss pole or let its long stems hang freely, gaining length throughout the year.
- Light: Bright to moderate indirect sunlight. Keep away from direct sunshine as it can scorch the leaves.
- Water: Keep the compost damp but not soggy, as it can promote root rot. Allow the top 2 inches of the compost to dry in between the watering. Mist your plant frequently to increase humidity around the plant and remove dust accumulated on its leaves.
Not edible. Toxic if accidentally ingested.
