This rarely seen member of the ‘Blue star fern’ family has wonderful frilly deeply lobed blue fronds. A real fun fern. A rare variety of this air-purifying plant, the Blue Star Fern has sturdy, large blue-green fronds which spill from the plant in a random manner.
Tip: Avoid draughts and keep away from radiators.
PLANT CARE
- Light: Moderate to bright indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can burn the leaves.
- Water: Keep the soil moist but not damp. Water using filtered water, once a week or when the top 2cm of its compost dries out. This plant does better in humid environments, Mist frequently, especially on dry warm days.
This plant is not edible, but it is not toxic if accidentally ingested.
