Philodendron Micans - Velvet Leaf Philodendron

This hard to find plant, also known as Velvet Leaf Philodendron, is the perfect small space plant. Native to the Caribbean and Mexico, these plants have gorgeous velvety, heart-shaped leaves. Its curling leaves unfurl as they grow into a myriad of colours depending on the amount of natural light they have. They can be deep green, to chartreuse in colour.

Usually displayed in hanging pots, trained in a moss pole or on a wall, as its aerial roots adhere to surfaces.
