Native to Lord Howe Island, this slow-growing palm is loved for its ability to adapt well to indoor conditions, making it a perfect choice for homes, offices and lower-light spaces.
With its tall, architectural shape and lush green foliage, the Kentia Palm makes a beautiful statement while remaining wonderfully easy to care for.
Plant Care
☀️ Light
Prefers bright, indirect light but will also tolerate medium and lower light conditions. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
💧 Water
Allow the top 3–5 cm of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly, allowing excess water to drain away, and avoid overwatering.
💨 Humidity
Adapts well to average household humidity but appreciates moderate humidity.
🌡️ Temperature
Thrives between 18–27°C. Protect from cold draughts and temperatures below 12°C.
🌱 Feeding
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser. Reduce feeding during autumn and winter.
