Crotons are very popular because of their bright, magnificent, colourful foliage and Mammy variety has very distinctive shiny, leathery, large, thick leaves. The plant is 25cm tall, in 10cm pot. When fully mature, can reach up to 50cm tall.
- Light: Bright, direct sunlight. Southern or western window is preferred for the most abundant light.
- Water: The soil should be kept moist, never soggy. Regular watering is essential, but do not overwater and never allow the soil to dry out completely. Usually watering once a week is ideal, varying according to your house temperature and sun exposure.
Tip: If you notice the leaves browning along the edges, you’re using too much water. If the leaves are turning green your plant need more sunlight, simply move it to summer spot, such as a south facing window.
