Monstera adansonii is the smaller trailing, cousin of the Monstera deliciosa, or Swiss Cheese plant. Its attractive leaves have oval holes that appear as soon as the new leaves uncurl.
Can be trained to climb a moss pole or let its long stems to hang freely, gaining length throughout the year.
- Light: Bright to moderate indirect sunlight. Keep away from direct sunshine as it can scorch the leaves.
- Water: Keep the compost damp but not soggy, as it can promote root rot. Allow the top 2 inches of the compost to dry in between the watering. Mist your plant frequently to increase humidity around the plant and remove dust accumulated on its leaves.
